'Quake in South****t!

by "A.Cow" <A.Cow@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Feb 27, 2008 at 01:09 AM

Blimey. Just sitting there watching Sarah Connor and next thing the
table and the room start shaking.

For anybody in the rest of the world it won't be much, but South****t
doesn't ever get much exciting. For those not in the know we're a
seaside town miles away from the sea (due to an excessive beach) and
whenever the rest of the country is blanketed in snow we never see any.

About the most hubbub we've had in recent years was when the fairground
closed down. And every once in a while they move the Dan Dare statue to
a new plinth.

In all my 38-odd years that's the first time I've ever experienced an
earthquake. (Estimate: 3 on the Richter scale)

So now you know. Thank you for listening.
