I got into a fight with some druggie beggar and, yes, if the law had been
fully applied I'd be in jail. Explaining the law, realities, and solutions
would take too long though Scojo's errant behaviour and the general lack
of
group effort to focus on a better alternative focus is lesson enough.
In general, the key to success is self-improvement and, I note, elements
of
John Wagner's writing are tilting more in this Doaist/Buddhist/Stoic
direction. As bad as things may seem, I suspect, the bigger picture of
British politics is heading in this direction as well.
