Actually - and even if you think I'm the biggest troll to ever stalk
a
2000AD forum - it's an insult to fans' intelligence to believe
Justice
Dept would give lawgivers to mutants. It's just stupid, illogical and
insulting our intelligence.

I swear to God, sometimes I read current Dredd and I swear Wagner is
deliberately taking the piss. The whole mutant storyline is sh*t.
Sorry to swear, I try not to, but it is sh*t. It's the worst thing
Wagner's ever done with Dredd. The whole Fargo clan with the comedy
chins and dumb hick town personalites was bad enough, then Wagner
adds
insult to injury by having Dredd go pro-mutant. As if Dredd cares a
toss about mutants. Sure, he does have humanity, he's not a complete
bastard but he's pragmatic, not a mutant social worker with
altruistic
tendencies. He would know you can't let thousands or millions of
mutants into MC-1. It's not practical. And now, to add futher
insult,
we got to believe Hershey would give mutants their own lawgivers.
*****
that idea. LOL Seriously, it's just crap. John Wagner is a legend -
he
created Dredd, done amazing stories, his achievements speak for
themselves - but crap is crap and Hershey giving lawgivers to mutant
is a crap story idea. PERIOD.

The whole mutant storyline is painful to read. It's totally out of
character - not just from Dredd's perspective but from Justice Dept's
point of view too. I said Dredd jumped the shark in Origins with the
lame stuff about Ephram Fargo - the mysterious brother we never knew
about but casually thrown into the story. This week's Dredd hasn't
jumped another shark, it's jumped a school of whales!
