Just like to add - I've hated recent Dredd. The mamby pampy Dredd of
late is an affront to the original version. John Wagner should stop
this metro***ual take on Dredd's world before he completely destroys
the character. And one more thing...
How many times does Wagner keep writing:
"He knew the city was in safe hands. He wouldn't be around forever."
Well, guess what - Dredd's not going anywhere. Wagner's been milking
this "Dredd is old" angle for years!
Sorry to rant about that but it pees me off. Dredd is not dying, not
taking another long walk. Why, because Rebellion don't want it to
happen. PERIOD. So stop this "Dredd is old" stuff. No-one's buying it.
I wouldn't have mentioned that but the lawgiver/mutant claptrap got me
upset. So there. Yes, I am a drama queen but if the crown fits me I
might as well be one. :)
Adios.
