Hmmmm... not sure... still living in a semi... a real hypocrite might
swallow their pride/opinion and take the money and shut up, and do more
to make more money from filming more of their stories.
I think the problem of going from comic to film is that more is said in a
comic from less visual action... also the gaps between frames allow the
reader to fill in the gaps more themselves rather than film which leaves
little to the imagination by its nature.
But I think some comics converted well to film, I rate sin city and 300
highly... (but have not read the originals so cant compare) Dredd was not
too bad... but a lot have been crap... but then I don't like the DC style
"super" hero anyway.
Zenith... that might make a good film... if they did not yankify it too
much! Now that was a classic uber hero story... best one I have ever
read...
