Sin City was superb, but not strictly linear - Marv (the big, ugly
electocuted Mickey Rourke) was back in the film after his death scene
(watching Jessica Alba dance - good enough reason for me :). Sin City is
also good for celeb spotting - I didn't spot Frodo until the thrid
viewing. And only spotted Rutger Hauer on the most recent.
300 is also pretty faithful - the film has more story than the graphic
novels, and in some ways the movie is better - the first charge of the
Persians is better on screen than on paper.
