That sums it up. Yes, people can say I'm mentally fragile blah blah
blah but you look back at all the great Dredd stories, be they long or
short - one parters or multi-part epics - and then consider the above
paragraph and you'll know in your hearts I am right. Wagner has ruined
Dredd, he's lost the plot. IMHO Dredd was the best comic character of
them all (well, of the ones I know about, I haven't read every single
comic character ever created lol) and now to see him so reduced, it's
tragic. When Dredd needs to rely on 'mutant relative sniffy dogboy' to
solve a crime you know it's all over. The character, the true version,
is dead. Let him rest in peace, John.
