re: I played the beta test, was very happy to do my bit, but wasn't
impressed
with what I saw. I shan't be playing the full game, but if you decide you
need a bunch of "okay people" to socialise with, let me know and I can put
you in touch with my guild. (Think they're on the Ymir server.)
Thanks very much H! I haven't a clue what server I am on, in my rush to
get
going, must check, I'll gratefully accept your offer! A few of the guys
at
work are humming and ha-ing about it too, we all used to have a blast
online
at BF2142, and our WoW recovering addict is starting to have serious
withdrawal episodes! Part of the reason I took the plunge with AoC, was
that
Eidos was involved, and they did a fine job of Rogue Trooper. Also, there
does not seem to be any major graphics glitches with it or anything, I run
a
Crossfire HD3870 setup, which is by no means the most powerful setup- its
displays on the highest settings on a 24" monitor, lowest framerate 60,
usually tools along at 120 fps. As for the sound, well thats fantastic as
well. I think you should try it out again, I also read what Tim at
