ANYWAY --
- - - What a funny contrast I must offer. Richmond
was O.K., but I found a couple things in Roanoke that made
me happy. WJJS, the years I was there, because I was
a hard core techno head, and they played it nearly
non-stop. When it petered out and they ****fted to
whatever other black music, I was bored, and I guess,
but then again, I was living on
the Record Exchange, so life wasn't so bad.
Sounds so, '90's!

THere's a guy at a roanoke tv station that also worked at roanoke
WVTF-fm, npr. Nice guy, talented electronic engineer,
but GAWWWWD, talk about a gomer. Talked like it,
walked like it, acted like it. Kinda has cookie
tendencies, but I never had to work a whole ****ft with
him, just knew others who did so he was far more tolerable. Yet, also
possesses the balls to climb and paint towers!!!
Incredibly bad haircut. I never understood the
description of Bowl Haircut till I met him. <yeah,
think 3Stooges guy> -- {this segues into BECAUUUUUUUUUUUse, believe it or
not,
there's an hypocritical Christian chick here with
NO personality, NO life, <she ran up to the makeup
department one afternoon when she was destined to
allgedly have a date and we hear, when the date was
done, she ran in the house really quick. She hasn't
much of a social life apparently.> Anyway, she has the
same hair, so I dubbed her or renamed her with his name so another person
would get an idea of what she looked like. She's the
other one that likes to openly bring her Bible to
work. Its weird. She'll have her backpack full of
crap, but conveniently, I suppose there's just not
enough room in the pack for the Bible.}
Anyway, listening to the likes of HIM on an NPR
station is like Marilyn Manson conducting Mass. I
mean, it is just AWFUL. I never understood
why he was allowed on their air. His accent combined
with Mahler was enough to make you ill. (sorry,
I never verbalized that )
- -- XM seems like a great idea. And the stupid air
talent that were kicked off air are all like,
well, we stream. Well Screw Your Streaming, it dont'
stream in my truck, and that's where I grab most of
it.
