One of the things that always irritates me about dismissals of Green
Arrow as a Batman wannabe, is the complete ignorance of fans to the
fact that the original Green Arrow was basically an updated western,
created by Mort Weisinger in parallel to the Vigilante (one updated
souped up Cowboy, one updated souped up Indian), not to the Batman.
I think Lost Mesa is a lot cooler than the stupid island.
