When watching Blade Runner you should try not to compare the movie with the
book, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? That’s a book written by the
best science fiction writer of all time, Philip K. Dick. The mechanical
pets are absent but there is a monologue discussing the absence of real
animals in the future in the movie. I agree that the ending is quite
different but this is necessary because of the different time and
