In September we had a discussion about Sunday-only storylines. Examples
that we came up with included:
1. Linus the rain-stopper.
2. Snoopy boxes with a glove on his nose.
3. Lucy the golfer. (Famous for its adults!)
4. Linus runs away from home, before Charlie Brown talks him out of it.
5. Linus memorizes Matthew 2:18 ("A voice was heard in Rama").
6. Tall grass grows around Snoopy's doghouse, forcing him to raise sheep.
Other examples from the 1998 thread on the subject:
7. The Cheshire Beagle loses his picture.
8. Linus memorizes "And it came to pass" for the Christmas program.
I bring this up again because I just ran across another one today:
9. Snoopy is displaced from his doghouse to a mailbox to make room for a
bird's nest.
For completeness I'll also list ones that involve both Sundays and
dailies:
a. Charlie Brown is hospitalized.
b. Powder Puff Derby.
c. Charlie Brown abandons Sally in her stroller to play baseball.
d. A butterfly lands on Peppermint Patty's nose.
