True, but I, possibly wrongly, view Venom as one entity, not two, the suit
alone is nothing, Eddie Brock is nothing, together, they are Venom. Venom
can take ona larger form

I've said that since the word go, but Marvel seem to keep going with
symbiote over and over again so just went with the flow (It's not like I
like the character enough to care)... then again, the Trill in Star Trek
are
consistently described as symbiotic, but, again, seem to be parasitic...
since the slug can survive extraction from the humanoid, but the humanoid
will die as a result.
