One question that's been asked about ALL the costumed heroes, Superman
included, in all the various versions of them (comics, cartoons and live
action stuff) is: does the existance of these heroes cause more trouble
than
they resolve. Would the Joker or Scarecrow exist without Batman? Would the
Earth be invaded without the presence of Superman, Hawkman or J'onn
J'onzz?
I seem to remember one episode of the Batman cartoon (the one on Fox
during
the 90s) where it was concluded that guys like the ones in Bats Rogues'
Gallery would exist with or without Batman. Maybe in a different form and
with a different M.O., but they'd still exist.
