Confusion on Mary Marvel and Black Adam

I am a little confused on Mary Marvel and Black Adam.  I thought Adam
gave Mary all of his powers near the start of Countdown so Adam
doesn't have powers anymore.  So how did he appear in the final issue
of Countdown?  I missed something here...  Did the powers go back to
Adam when Mary gave them up?  I thought it was Adam's powers that
Darkseid gave back to Mary.  Was it Eclipso's powers instead?
