Matt Wagner announced Thursday from his Comic-Con "Spotlight" panel a
new Madame Xanadu Vertigo ongoing series to be written by himself with
with art by Amy Hadley. In it readers will learn the true origin of
the sorceress, as well as explore her complicated relation****p with
the enigmatic Phantom Stranger. With a story spanning no less than
eight hundred years, and a creative team with vastly different comic
backgrounds, this series looks to pluck Xanadu from her DCU obscurity
and integrate her into the Vertigo world of magic.
