66 regular issues, IIRC.
There's no way that 22-25 pages of comics is an hour of television. I
think it's closer to a page a minute, although Joss Whedon has
resently said as much as 4 issues an hour.
Plus, there are differences between comic book and television pacing.
The way I see it there are three television seasons there (HBO, 13
episode season, that is)
The beginning, Jesse's family and such.
The Grail stuff.
The wind-down.
