GOING, GOING, GONE: Just Three Days Left of Squiddy Voting!
2003 Squiddy Awards balloting runs through Sunday, May 9th. After that
it's
all over. Well, not all over, Johanna and I have to count votes, write
press releases, update logo art, post results. Okay--its not nearly over,
at all. But the voting part almost is; you've only got three (3) days left
to cast your ballot.
That's THREE, "Three" as in "Three Stooges," "Three Wise Men," "Three Dog
Night," "3M," "Threesome," and "Triplicate Girl."
I'm posting the ballot again, tonight, but if you still can't find a one,
you can get a copy via Google Groups at:

(While you are in no way limited to the creators/comics that appear on the
Pseudo-Nominee list (that's why it is PSEUDO-nominee list), the list can
serve as a handy reminder of some of the best of 2003.)
Please vote. ANYONE who reads or posts to the various rec.arts.comics*
newsgroups is eligible to vote.
In many categories one or two votes could make the difference. I know, I
know--I always say that, but I mean it; look at the last few years
results.
We've had lots of very close races and ties. You could make the difference
for your favorite comic, creator, or character.
So vote!

New Security Exploit In Microsoft MSN Messenger

A new virus is circulating the Internet taking advantage of an exploit in
Microsoft MSN Messenger. The virus will allow conservative Republicans to
take control of your computer and use it for starting World War III.
Microsoft released a patch 6 months ago, but as usual no one has updated.
Might be a good time to consider switching to OpenOffice.org.
