2003 SQUIDDY AWARDS RUN-OFF VOTING--THURSDAY: FINAL DAY
Just a reminder: if you haven't voted in the Squiddy Run-Offs yet,
Thursday, May 20th is the last day to do so. Below is a repost of the
ballot.
Go vote; that's all.
I'm tired. I'll be glad when this is all over :)
---------------------------------------------------------------------
This year, we've ended up with eight ties in the final Squ iddy
results. Rather than just listing two (or three) winners for each tied
category, Johanna and I have decided to try something different this
year: a tie-breaker round of voting.
Here's the rules:
1) You may ONLY vote for one of the tied comics/creators.
2) Voting will run for ONLY 72 hours--from Tuesday, 18 May 2004
through Thursday, 20 May 2004
3) You do not have to have voted in the original voting to participate
in the run-off.
4) If you voted for one of the run-off candidates in the original
balloting, you are not required to vote for the same candidate here.
5) Once you have submitted your run-off ballot, that's final;
no vote changes.
6) To vote place an "X" by your choice for the winner among the
run-off candidates (as shown below).
7) To abstain in a category, simply do not place an "X" next to
either candidate.
8) Other applicable standard Squiddy voting rules apply (as listed
below the ballot).
9) Run-off candidates are listed in alphabetical order.

It was on the day when I left to fulfill my quest, "Seek a sock". Little
did I know that my Chamois vest, a nice piece of armor, would be put to a
test soon Hours later I arrived at the lake, only to be greeted by Man-o-
wars. They were only wearing Cracked Chamois, but the sheer numbers made
them a dangerous force. The vile beasts attacked mercilessly, some even
wielding Longirons! Hordes of creatures were added to the fray, Sylphs,
[monsters]s and even a tall Wight! Six of them were closing in on us, but
my Sadness XIII spell reduced them to ashes! With one swift chop Ybeic
decapitated the last three of the things. "Not bad for a Double Wookie,
huh?", he said, and victory was ours.
