"Alirader," I said. "Will you marry me?" She smiled languorously: "Of
course I will. If you bring me the Garlanded Hymnal of Fealty." I kissed
her. "My darling, you can't mean it! Everyone knows the Garlanded Hymnal
of
Fealty is guarded by an army of baby Bugbears!" But she did mean it, and
that is why I, fool as I am, decided to set out in search of the Garlanded
Hymnal of Fealty. My friend, Alirader, and I left Stonebridge at midnight.
When finally a Chromatic Dragon approached us and politely said, "Hi my
name is George." Then he courteously gave us directions. I drew my trusty
Vicious Pronged Lance and screamed "Have at you, evil-doer!" I kill with
Infinite Confusion XII. Little did it know I had the awesome Sacred Lens
of
Suffering. In addition to a Invisible Hands XVIII or two, it was no
contest. After a brief memorial ceremony, and a dash of cold water on
Alirader's face, we continued on our quest. It would be a long and
difficult trek, but lucky for us, we now had a large bag of candy to
sustain us!
