Dynamite Entertainment is currently doing a mini called "Project
Superpowers," which is centered around a collection of public-domain
characters and is supposed to start a new superhero universe for Dynamite.
I'm mentioning it here because its premise seems to be a reverse of
Captain
America's revival story: Fighting Yank, a patriotic-themed hero, had
spent
years trapping almost all the other heroes inside a magic urn (because he
thought it would end all evil), and 60 years later they return to the
world,
no older than they were when first trapped, and ready to take on the evils
of the present day. It's like if Steve Rogers had been the one hero who
*wasn't* frozen in ice.
