I haven't seen anything in this newsgroup regarding New Avengers
recently so I thought I'd start a thread. I haven't seen Iron Man so I
cannot contribute to that thread.

Evidently after Galactus ate the homeworld a distaff religious ****tion
of the Skrulls took power of the Skrull empire (or a significant ****tion
of the empire).
The skrulls evidently CAN copy anything (although the limits are murky).
Cosmic powers, mutant powers and magic do not seem to be a problem.
The skrulls even seem to be able to copy memories thru some kind of
super DNA analysis. I found that kind of weird but oh well, I'm just
along for the ride. They haven't actually stated that you need a
perfect living original in which to copy memories from but if you can
copy Rogues power (or Xaviers power) I'm not sure the intended victim
needs to be in the best of condition.
I suppose that Wor'il the War Council delegate from the prior
administration will have some kind of conflict with Princess Veranke.
So they can hide perfectly unless the integrity of their control is
disrupted. I suppose you can knock infiltrators out and they still
remain hidden. What if you cut off one of their fingers?
