Do movie studios not learn anything - look at the success of Spider-
Man (Tobey Maguire's no male model), Iron Man (Downey Jr is over 40),
Batman Begins (Bale is 30+ and a real actor). Casting a male model,
wrestler or a bodybuilder is not the way to go. Get a good actor
first and he can convey the power/strength of Thor through his acting,
not his oiled muscles: Brad Pitt would be the dream casting for me if
they made Thor Ultimates style, ie - ground him in the real world and
unsure if he is really a god or delusional. I think if they went this
route it would be unique for a superhero film - ie, is he crazy or
not? of course by the films end we would see the Asgardians show up
ala Ultimates 2 and confirm he is NOT insane. I think Pitt might go
for it if this was the setup, but if they go the sword and sandals
route maybe not...
Oh and James Callis as Loki please...
