When her solo series started, Mystique made the claim that she hadn't
committed all the crimes of which she was accused and suggested that
she had been impersonated by another shape****fter. Citing something
like "If I wanted to get away with something, WHY would I commit these
acts while looking like myself?" Made sense, but was never followed
up upon so I assumed the idea was dropped and that Mystique was lying.
