I was reminded of Barney Google today, and how he still wanders into
"Snuffy Smif'" from time to time to keep his trademark active. I
wonder why he's never had a walk on like:
Snuffy: Barney! Ain't seen you in many a blue moon.
Barney: Been busy, Snuffy. Used the seed money from one of
Sparkplug's purses and started me an Interweb Compnee
OK, they haven't used that particular exchange because it isn't very
funny, but you get the idea. The search company has to know that there
was a pre-existing "Google" and I can't imagine they'd mind a little
joke about it every now and then..
