NY Times Magazine Funnies

by Set Learning <setlearning@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > May 7, 2008 at 01:29 PM

For some time, the NY Times Magazine has been publi****ng pages from graphic

novels.

I don't read them regularly, but from what I've seen they've been, well,
unbearably terrible. I've poked around a bit at some of the older ones on

their website

http://www.nytimes.com/ref/magazine/funnypages.html?_r=1&oref=slogin

and found them to be dreadful. I say this as someone who likes at least
some graphic novels, Chris Ware, Ben Katchor, Lynda Barry stuff. But am I

missing something, or has the Times managed to pick a long run of
stinkers?
