FOOB May 12: Creep-tonite Ring

Spoiler space before I explain what the heck my subject line is about.  :)















     Back to the present, Warren's trying to butter Liz up, when she
reveals
she's engaged and holds up the ring.  It gleams radioactively, lighting up
her entire hand, and Warren screams "AAAAHHH!" and cringes back as if
someone
were coming at him with a baseball bat.

     Because it's not enough to paint him as a creep in his last several
appearances, now he has to recoil from an engagement ring as if it were a
hand grenade....

     Dave Van Domelen, heading off "how did you get it early?" questions
by
pointing out that his paper runs the next day's strips, but no Sunday
comics (and no Saturday paper, it's a weird historical thing).
